Yoga

Madhurai has been practicing yoga for 14 years and teaching for 9 years. 

She generally teaches gentle vinyasa flow classes.

​

She likes to incorporate meditation, mantra, pranayama breath-work practices, mudras, sound healing, and free flowing movement into her classes.

​

Madhurai was trained in India in 2017. Since then she has spent a lot of time in India and explored a widespread variety of lineages of yoga, and their traditions and practices.

Madhurai is particularly attracted to bhakti yoga and devotional practices.

​

She was also lucky enough to grew up close to Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health. She went to her first yoga class there at the age of 12, (thanks Dad!) and worked there in high school. There she learned the basics of yoga and spirituality, and got to experience the gentle and self-loving style of Kripalu Yoga. She has integrated that flavor into the culture and practices of India, creating a soft and loving space to offer movement, healing, transformation, and empowerment.

Madhurai is currently teaching yoga online in her Radiant Me programs, and in person in Ashland, Oregon.
