The redwood pieces are very special to me, because this Grandmother Redwood really called to me, and showed me which specific little chunk of tree to take. She grew for hundreds of years, fell in her own time amongst the friends of the forest, and now decomposes back into the Earth, slowly. She was so beautiful, her energy soft, ancient, and wise. Her bare red skin all covered in moss and young trees and plants sprouting up from the places that her body had become new earth. She has seen many things.
